The Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) qualification will give you the skills and knowledge you need to find a job and follow your passion! This course offers a real-world learning opportunity in a supportive environment to get skills, gain valuable work experience and a chance to find a job in this area after you have completed your study.
Duration
Study on-campus 2 days a week for 20 study weeks (no classes run during NSW school holidays and public holidays)

Face to face with online elements
120 hours work placement, additional to your course class hours, is also required as part of this qualification

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to enrol in this qualification however to prepare you for this course we suggest you have:
- Basic computer skills
- A reasonable level of fitness to carry our manual handling and first aid

Completion Requirements
During your study you will be required to provide Atwea/work placement the following evidence:
- A National Police Check
- A NDIS Worker Check (if applicable)
- Vaccinations which may include COVID (if applicable)
- A Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Any other evidence your work placement provider requires

Pathway
These units may be used as credit transfers on successful completion to complete other qualifications in the community services training package
